Hi. I have the time zone set up correctly in Sierra and the clock on my computer is accurate and in synch with the clock on my trading platform which is separate from the Sierra charts. However, the candles on my Sierra charts close 15 seconds early and start forming the next 5 min candle. For example, on my 5 min chart the second candle of the day will start printing at 9:34:45. I trade in New York and trade US stocks. Thoughts on how I can get this to synch up?

Make sure the Session Times >> Start Time in Chart >> Chart Settings has the Seconds set to 00. Like 00:00:00 or 09:30:00.

I checked the times and they are flat numbers in the Session Times. I guess all I need to know is that the charts are linked to the correct time. If they are using a clock that is linked to a server that is accurate I am okay with that. I noticed that my computer clock is also off from my cell phone by a similar margin. Is the clock linked to my charts from your server or is it using the clock in my computer? I received a note from Sierra when I logged back in saying my computer timer was off.

The time stamping of the chart bars is going to be based upon the Sierra Chart data feed which is accurate.

Additionally, to set your clock accurately, refer to help topic 38:

You are also running an older version of Sierra Chart. Follow the instructions here to update:
