I have a few different tasks I am trying to automate as much as possible, that would interfere with each other if I were to configure the DTC server to auto open all sub instances.

Instead I would like to have few a task specific DTC clients, that contain task specific sub instances as needed.
So that the Main DTC client would auto open it's the sub instances as well as the seperately installed instance that is being used as the DTC server.

How can I set this up?

Alternatively is it possible to read and write to the config file that remebers which sub instances will open from a seperate .exe?

Also I need clarity on one other thing this is probably also a stupid question.
If I have 2 separate installations of Sierra Chart that both contain a sub instance_2 folder. Are both sub instance_2 folders independent of each other? or do they represent the same instance?

You cannot do this as you explain. It is not supported. There is only the ability to automatically run sub-instances.

No.

They are separate.

These questions are not really proper for us to be asked about.

You have the ability to install additional instances of Sierra Chart on your system and there are numerous external programs and tools for running programs.

You should not have to consult with us on any of this.

Was only checking on what can be achieved with the program. So that I can implement the best solution To save time. The yes or no answers was all I needed.

I was not looking for suggestions on external tools.
