Global Profit/Loss Management cancel / flatten

I am considering to make more use of the Global Profit/Loss Management functionality within Sierra. In the manual it states that positions are closed with a market order. It may be that if child orders are still open the market order to close is rejected by by the broker if the closing market order causes margin level to be exceeded. Is this taken into account by the Profit/Loss Management function? Please advise. |

No it is not. A solution to this will be developed in the coming months. Not sure exactly when, but sometime this year.

In v1461 you have added to Trade Settings the option Hold Market Order Until Cancelled Orders are Confirmed. I understand that this applies to Flatten and Reverse buttons hit on Trade Window. However, it is not yet explicitly mentioned in the Manual if the option also applies to commands sent either via the Global Profit/Loss Management functionality or the ACSIL function sc.FlattenAndCancelAllOrders. Please confirm. |

It does apply to sc.FlattenAndCancelAllOrders. However, it does not apply to Global Profit/Loss Management. We will see if we can add support for it in this case. In v1462 enhancements to the Global Profit/Loss Management feature were announced but no details specified. Were you able to implement the Hold Market Order Until Cancelled Orders are Confirmed functionality? Please advise. |

Yes this was implemented. The What Is New page will not go into a lot of details .
