DTC subinstance service question

Hello SC team,
Why a local instance always downloads data files from remote instance (when using DTC subinstance as a trading service) for symbols that actually aren't requested by the local instance? Basically, it downloads all data files that the remote instance is tracking. It's about 20 GB of unwanted data being downloaded every single day. I have to delete all those files every time b/c I have a limited space on my laptop and downloading of that amount of data via WiFi/mobile bandwidth simply puts the connection down. Is there a way to fix that? Thanks.

You must have enabled Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> SC Server Settings >> Auto Send Security Definition for New Symbols.
