This part of documentation refers: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TechnicalStudiesReference.html#s258 Does setting a Maximum Duration (which the documentation suggests affects the display of data only) impact any calculations performed on the underlying data? Example: Say I have this study in Chart Region 2 and I have applied a Simple Moving Average Study (25 period) to the Bar Time Duration Study. I have set a Maximum Duration of 5 minutes. Where a bar duration time exceeds 5 minutes will the SMA Study uses the actual bar duration time in it's MA calculation or will it use 5 minutes for that bar? |

In this particular case the Moving Average study will use 5 minutes.
