I have followed all the instructions supplied, and can log into the platform but the data won't connect. Keeps on coming up connecting and then to waiting to reconnect. I am trying a demo through AMP and CQG. How do I overcome this?

Set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to "CQG Web API". In that same window set Connection Details >> Server to "Demo".

Try connecting again with File >> Connect to Data Feed and you should be able to connect.

If not contact your broker about this.

Ok have tried that but to no go. Someone at cqg was supposed to help me but he informed me he was on holidays for the next two weeks.
