I have a customer who is using Rithmic data on a sierra charts trial. Is it possible to use the Rithmic demo server for sim execution versus using Sierra Charts local simulation server instead? So for example when you use a Rithmic data feed on any 3rd party platform that does not offer local simulation the execution you can see on the 3rd party platform will also reflect in R | Trader which is Rithmic's own platform so it is in sync.

The way it works now for Sierra Charts/Rithmic when you fire off trades within Sierra they are local to the platform but are not recording on the Rithmic demo server side.

Was wondering if it was possible to enable a function within Sierra to by pass the local sim and instead use the data feed's demo server instead. Hope that makes sense.

We assume when you mention "Rithmic demo server" you are referring to the Paper Trading server?

The Rithmic Paper Trading server is supported. To connect to it, this is set through Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Connection Details.

You also need to disable Trade Simulation Mode which is explained here:
