It would be desirable to be able to ‘Copy and Adjust Slope’ of a line (e.g., line segment, ray, extended line, regression line, etc.) by a factor specified by the user. For example, a factor of 2 would double slope, 0.5 would half the slope, -1.0 reverse the slope, etc.… Background: In the prehistoric days of using paper charts for futures trading, the change of trendline slope by certain specific factors had meaning, e.g., consolidation, distribution for reversal, etc. Most of these relationships still exist today. Since these are somewhat self-fulfilling prophecies, a substantial number of traders must still be using them. |
