Not sure if I have the correct person or dept but I just connected with Vision Financial. I had a demo with Optimus and I use to have Sierra Charts with Infinity Futures. When I switched to Vision I deleted Sierra and reinstalled the current version. I was told to contact Sierra because above my Charts it still has [SIM] Is it still a simulator account? and a GSP Bridge still starts and connects, Vision is saying that shouldn't be as I should be connecting directly with Rithmic to Vision Financial.

I figured out the SIM but I need to make sure I'm connected with my broker before I make any live trades. In which they say they do not know what the GSP bridge service is?

As long as "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" is disabled, then the orders will go to your vision financial account. The GSP Bridge program does need to be running, it is just a background process.

So I also read about why the GSP Bridge and now I understand. I remember it coming up when I logged in with Infinity. My question now is that is still comes up but I have a different broker with there setting for the data feed I just want to make sure my trades will be routed correctly to my new broker and not infinity. Thank you

What do you see under File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service? Does it say TransAct or Rithmic? This control where the orders are routed. Sierra Chart Support |

If I shut down the GSP bridge server I get disconnected from the Rithmic data feed. Should I have the GSP running using Vision Financial as a broker and Rithmic as my data and if I shouldn't how would I stop it. My Data/Trade Service Settings is Rithmic 01 [trading] |

If you shut down the bridge your connection to your broker will be closed down. If you want close the connection the proper way would be by selecting File >> Disconnect from within Sierra Chart. You are connecting to Vision Financial. Sierra Chart Support Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-07-08 22:57:46
