SC: How do I set the price increment in Sierra for the ZS soybeans, which trades in bits or 2,4,6,even. For example, 10.120, 10.122, 10.124, 10.126 and then it would go to 10.130. It trades in 3 decimal places on my broker's dome, which is Infinity and Transact. But on the Sierra charts it trades as 10.1200, 10.1225, 10.1250, 10.1275 and then it would go to 10.1300. In other words, it seems to be a rounding thing and I don't know what to change in Sierra to make my chart be the same as the quotes. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance. |

SC: I know there is a way to do this but it was a long time ago and now i can't find the file. I tried to change the price format but that doesn't work. Do you know how to make them both quote in the same increments? Right now the dome shows 10.122 and the charts show 10.125. Both are correct technically but how do I change the sierra quote so that it is bits...ie, 2 bits, 4 bits, 6 bits and even. Thanks for you prompt response. |

There are many steps to do this. We will have to document the procedure. It is going to involve altering the multipliers and several other settings. Thanks SC. That is close but still not the same. The dome is quoting ZS soybeans as 10.302 and SC is quoting it as 1030'2.

It is completely impossible to make it any closer. The way that Transact is quoting it is technically wrong even though it could be considered a valid convention.
