I'm thinking of buying a Dell XPS with a 4K screen.

I'm is it useable or just too small at native resolution with scaling off?

It will work. But you do have to adjust various settings in Global Settings >> Graphics Settings to get everything appearing like you would expect.

I have tested my full HD setup on on 4K setup on small 13 inch laptop as well. Apparently i have to re-set everything from scratch. Or is there any function sierra can scale accordingly when switch to 4K? Thanks

You will definitely have to adjust font sizes, and window position and sizes.

Let us know if you need further documentation for these.

Thank you, and would there be something like auto-scaling option in the future to adjust to 4K screens? Thanks

The adjustments will always have to be manual. At some point we may change how the font sizes are stored to minimize variation on different resolutions but we are just storing them in the way that the operating system is returning them.
