Hello, I will like to know how can I add more layers to the Murray Math on Sierra Chart for example I will like to add L-4/8 -8/8 and +8/8. Thanks. |

We had a look at the study to see if we can add these but we do not understand the math of it. It is very complicated. We cannot help with this. I greatly appreciate it, and you are correct, I am just looking that they add more extensions, this is the ones that I use in Ninja Trader: -2/8, -1/8, 0/8, 1/8, 2/8, 3/8, 4/8, 5/8, 6/8, 7/8 8/8 +1/8 , and +2/8 .... again I really will appreciate it thanks. |

We are not even sure the study is even programmed correctly in Sierra Chart. This is precisely the problem when there is a complex study that we do not understand the math of. Does it look like it works correctly to you? There is no chance we are going to be able to do anything further with the study ourselves. OK this is good. Do you have a reference for how the lines are calculated? Do you have the source code for the study in NT. You can post it here and we can see if we can figure it out. I just want to double check that you were able to access the source code. Thanks. |

Yes we can access the code but actually that code is written differently. So it is not really helpful but after looking at the code Sierra Chart uses, we think we can figure this out. The additional levels will be in the next release. We also found a significant inefficiency problem during the initial full recalculation of the study and that will be fixed as well. Update to the latest "Prerelease" by following the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate Let us know if the line labeling is correct. Since we do not really understand the math of the study, we are not sure we got the labeling correct. We recommend removing existing instances of the Murray Math study and adding it again. Hello, You mentioned that you found "a significant inefficiency problem" during the initial full calculation of the study?, can you share with me what it is, because although the lines add up as I have it in NT they are inconsistent of which one is what "eight portion" of the range, ? |

We did a review and we did not find any problems with the calculations. In any case, we cannot spend further time on this at this time.
