Hi Iv'e attached a file that contains a historical symbol chart for AAPL. I have customized a trail step stop loss idea that works by using the OHLC for this same chart, the issue I run into is the fact that this same historical chart does not update in-line with IB real time options data. Question, is there a way to optimize the historical chart symbols using ACSIL or some other concept to match tick-by-tick the IB options data, this way I would have the up most accuracy when using by attached step trail stop. Can we go as far as limiting number of days to load and include columns with no data programmatically? I would not want to affect download time with these options but this looks to be the only way to reach tick-by-tick solution. Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2016-03-11 00:41:12

Have you asked Interactive Brokers why this is the case? Certainly Sierra Chart is going to include in the chart all of the trades transmitted by TWS for the symbol. Consider using true real-time data: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/InteractiveBrokers.php#TrueRealTimeData Or use the -ALL data recording suffix after the symbol: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_RecordingModes.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
