The time period is set with the Time Period Unit and the Time Period Unit Length Inputs.

For each bar in the chart, the High and Low for the specified time period is determined up to that bar and not beyond

Date = 4 March
Bar = last bar (index 0)
specified time period = 3 days
Expected value for period low = 9692 (low of day on 2 March)
Actual displayed value for period low = 9706 (low of day yesterday, 3 March)

Second chart:
Date = 3 March
Bar = last bar
specified time period = 3 days
Expected value for period high = 9838.5 (high of 2 March, also the high of 1,2,3 March)
Actual displayed value for period high = 9818 (high of current day)

This has been done on a new chartbook on a new chart with no other studies.
Would be interesting to see if this can be reproduced.

Looking at the source for the study, it might be an issue with IsInNewPeriod?

It is not clear what you are trying to indicate through these text and chart images. It is best not to provide all of these details and simply explain the problem in general terms.

When providing an image of the chart only use the method documented here and no other:

We have an idea of what you are trying to indicate. We have updated the documentation for Time Period Unit here which explains how this works:
