Hi there, Is it possible to use the price data of one broker, say FXCM but actually trade with another broker let's say, IB? Thanks |

Ok if I am connected to IB data service, what happens to Sierra Charts and my automated trading system when IB shuts down its TWS for its daily maintenance at 5:00 PM EST? Does Sierra Charts crash? Would my automated trading system automatically get disabled? That's my only concern and that's why I am inquiring whether I can be connected to another data service while trade with IB through Sierra Charts as it seems FXCM doesn't have this daily interruption at 5:00 PM. Sierra Chart will just lose the connection and continuously try to reconnect. Obviously when Sierra Chart is not connected to TWS, no orders will be sent and we would not expect your automated trading system to be trying to send orders anyway. But would my automated trading system still stay enabled during the disconnection or does it get disabled and I would have to enable it again once Sierra Charts is reconnected to TWS?
