toolbar buttons that link to open chartbooks

is it possible to make a button to add chartbooks you have open to a toolbar? i understand the assoc watch list kind of serves a similar function but i want to be able to switch chartbooks faster and more accurately, not charts, and going to the CB item on the menu is also not the same, or if you can make the CB menu item portable, like a list of open chartbooks that stays open all the time?

i know about the tabs and f7/f8 but it's not what i would like. if i have 10-15 chartbooks open and am trading on 4 or 5 at a time, then later on i am trading on a few more and have finished trading some of the first set, then scrolling through 15 to get to those few takes too much time, too many clicks/keystrokes. if i had a portable customizable list like the assoc watch list or a toolbar but for chartbooks and where all the charts are already loaded (say 4 to a chartbook), that would be good. The REASON is this: when i decide about a trade, to go in to get out, how to get in or out, i need to take in lots of different info from different timeframes and indicators etc. The tabs are the closest thing you have but i have lots of monitors and i find trying to find the right tab at the right time draws my focus too far away from the trading at hand. and i usually have at least 4-5 trades going on simultaneously. so a toolbar that i could situate right next to me and could customize on the fly would be very helpful...just saying. |
