I have 2 charts side by side and I have changed the color of the up candles and down candles in Chart Graphics. They are set up exactly the same, with the up bars outlined in light purple with light blue filling and the down bars outlined in light gray with white filling.

One chart prints the bars exactly as set above. The other chart prints black fill for the down bars. I have looked at the settings over and over and can't see anything different.

What could I be doing wrong? I want them to print as set up.

Thank you

I found the difference to be that one chart was set to candlestick bars and one was set to candlestick volume bars. The one set to candlestick volume bars converts the white fill to black, while with the candlestick bars chart there is no conversion from white to black.

This is an interesting nuance that I do not see in the documentation.

Thanks

Something like this would not be documented because it is not specific to printing.

It has to do with what is drawn within the body of the candlestick. It could be that the body is completely empty with one and not with the other. Since we cannot see exactly what you are doing, we cannot comment specifically on this.
