Hi SierraChart On Global Profit/Loss Management, I note the trail daily profit value. Personally, I'm not interested in having positions automatically flattened when in profit. I am however interested in protecting my P&L with a trailing stop/flatten level, e.g. if my P&L exceeds $500 for the day, flatten and lock trading should unrealised cause realised to reach this level and let's say ratchet up by an offset after each profitable trade. Worked example: P&L > $500 closed trade for +$100 flatten/lock remains at $500 (for P&L at $600) next trade closes +$50; flatten/lock now at $550 (P&L at $650) next trade goes -$100 unrealised, so feature flattens position and locks trading protecting P&L at $550. Is this possible in the current implementation? If not, could it be looked at for a future release? The lock is *really* useful! Thanks Lee. |
