Version 1354; When I move from 1 chartbook (with multiple charts) to another and then come back the charts are no longer where I placed them! Very annoying. Anyway to lock their relative positions to stop this from happening?

Are these charts detached? Do you have multiple monitors?

Give us an example of specifically what happens. Is it that the position of a chart is then different?

I duplicated a chart from 1 chartbook to a second. It is when I move that duplicate chart to a new position in the second chartbook that it is also moved in the first (source) chartbook. How do I prevent this. Don't use a duplicate chart from another chartbook but create a totally new one?

The situation is much worse than just that problem. Long time ago when I opened a new chartbook I got a blank sheet and could create a chart myself from scratch. Now when I open a new chartbook it opens with a chart from another chartbook! If I modify it in the new chartbook, it gets modified in all other chartbooks. If I delete it, it gets deleted from all other chartbooks. There is unbelievable crosstalk between chartbooks that should not be there. I have experienced this for several months and thought the problem was so obvious that it would have been reported before my reporting it now.

The problem described in post #5 is not a software problem.

It is a configuration problem.

You must be using Window >> Window Always Visible, for some of your charts. Go to all of the charts you have open and make sure that is unchecked on all of them.

Also we cannot duplicate the issue in post #3. Maybe it is the same cause as described above.
