How to ensure correct P&L results when trading a portfolio of currencies

Hi, when trading EUR.JPY, AUD.JPY and EUR.USD with IB (paper) I can see that SC treats all trade outcomes as USD. For JPY-based symbols I have tried to input "JPY" in "Global Symbol settings/Additional/Currency" and in "symbol settings/Internal" added "fxcm" as "data service code" and input AUDJPY, EURJPY and EURUSD in "SC data symbol" but all this has not changed the behavior. Where/how can this be changed? Best E. |

It is not possible when using Interactive Brokers to report the Profit/Loss values using a common currency.

How come? If the balance/available equity info comes from IB, then it does come correctly, in the "account currency". I am using Multicharts in parallel and all results are reflected both in the instrument quote currency and account currency. This might indeed be calculated internally by the software but the total account equity is definitely updated from the broker and does show correct values.. |

This is not available in Sierra Chart when using Interactive Brokers. If Sierra Chart does not meet your requirements, then we recommend using another program. Sierra Chart does not use any Profit/Loss information from Interactive Brokers. However, the Account Balance Data is provided from Interactive Brokers .
