Sierra Chart may have a drawing/marker that can be set to stay near last bar-current time, but I can't find it.

Goal= To visually or programmatically alert at a set-marked level of Bid-Ask Volume Difference on Price at Volume bars (on right side).

Such vertical marker must not move like drawings or grid lines do.

This might be similar to Volume at Price Threshold Alert, but based on Bid-Ask Difference-- not absolute values of Bid Volume or Ask Volume--- and be visual (blink or color change).

(I can't get Volume at Price Threshold Alert to do anything, so I don't know how that looks).
I'm on CQG- FIX. Is the numbers-bars option required for that? (Does AMP Clearling know how to add that on? (They could not add DOW indexes)).

Using minute (and less) bars, it is difficult to see when differences exceed a certain value or proportion of total bar volume, because the blue total-volume bars are changing as well.

Can you tell us whether Difference bars are an absolute part of VatP % width setting, or a percentage of the changing volume bar?

Price bars are almost usable as a visual reference, but they move, especially using volume-price bars or very short-time bars.

Best would be ability to set two or more vertical markers on, (and beyond?) the blue bar, trigger-able as alerts (and/or blink) when hit by certain bid-ask volume difference.

Setable as seconds or minutes back (or percent of total volume?) versus bars back might give better resolution. Volume bars build in tiny increments (part of a bar).

General-purpose marks could help see blue volume bars hit trigger points (such as Volume at Price Threshold or other, etc.)

Height of the mark needs to be the volume bar height, to allow for multiple VatP bars.

Even a simple moving displaced line-mark from current time, unconnected to a study, would help.

If the Volume at Price Threshold indicator was improved to mark threshold with a vertical line (or does it?), then perhaps a modification of that could be used as basis for a new Bid-Ask Difference Threshold Alert indicator (with choice of colors+style).

For example, dots might form the vertical mark, to not confuse with bars and volume bar outlines.

The above are options-suggestions on approaches, factors, features, scope--- for perhaps a simple early tool, before a later something like a Bid-Ask Difference Threshold Alert.
