Hello I have been happily using SC for a number of years. a few days ago i BOUGHT a new COMPUTER asked that all Sierra data be transferred to the new computer. This has not worked.
Tried to us backup option still nothing.
I can open a new symbol when I try to customize tool bar nothing appears on the symbol line at top of chart.
Available toolbar commands all this window shows is a sequence of numbers tht mean nothing to me.
I would appreciate a step by step procedure to deal with this issue.
I am at sea when \i try to use documentation

The first thing that we want you to do is to select Help >> Download Prerelease.

Follow through the step-by-step instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

That will solve the problem of seeing numbers on the Control Bar/ToolBar.

Do you have all of the files in the "Data" subfolder from your prior installation of Sierra Chart on your old computer?

In order to retain the same look & feel of a previous install on another computer you need to copy the "Sierra3.cfg" file from the old to new computer. This is located in the C:/SierraChart folder. It is not in C:/SierraChart/Data folder
