amp, what's the total cost to subscribe to sierra?

No that price is AMP direct. It is a functioning version of package 3 without the flexibilty of using SC historical data or being able to choose Sierra Charts data feed U can choose any data feed AMP uses as far as that goes.. I personally use a Sierra Chart direct package 3 so that u can be more flexible. Flexible how? If I want to use different brokers I can. It also lets u have free FXCM data for forex. I pay $24 per month directly to SC. U pay exhange data fee of$5- $15 per month directly to amp. When u use AMPs version of SC u never deal with anyone except for AMP. |

thanks. so to summarize, there are two options to use amp with sierra: 1) amp direct - Monthly Fee Waived (Normally $24/mo) - functioning version of package 3 without the flexibilty of using SC historical data or being able to choose Sierra Charts data feed - can choose any data feed AMP uses cost = $53.25 per month waived (package 3) + $35 (data feed) + $3.25 (data access) + data exhange fee, $5- $15 per month directly to amp >> but for option 1, can i upgrade to package 5 for an addition fee? ---------------------------- 2) Sierra Chart direct - more flexible, can different brokers - lets u have free FXCM data for forex cost = $73.25 per month $35 per month (package 5) + $35 (data feed) + $3.25 (data access for funded account with amp) |

Normally u would use the data feed u choose from AMP which also is your trade route. Supporting SC is a good thing. I use CQG. ES roundtrip charge is $3.52/contract CME data fee is $15.00 for all data feeds or $5 for the specific one u use. Yes the flexibility with SC direct is that u could use a different data feed from your trade route. |

thanks crazybears @sierra... it's a simple question... if i have package 3 with amp (waived), can upgrade to package 5 for an addition fee? this link only tells me package 5 is $35 (Description of Service Packages and Pricing) from amp, package 3 is waived ($24)... so can i pay $11 a month extra to upgrade to package 5? |

With AMP you can get package 3 for free, package 5 for $25 (if I'm not mistaken) but... I would never go with a broker' version just to save $10 per month. It doesn't make any sense. Direct SC subscription gives you great flexibility and additional options. You can also save a lot on long-term SC subscription (if you pay in advance). |
