Hallo, I am a MP and VP user and I like very much your implementation of the concepts (TPO and VbP charts). I make extensive use of the 'split' feature in order to see each half-hour period by itself. So, just for convenience, I would like to have a 'Do All Splits For This Chart' feature: just the opposite of the 'Undo All Splits For This Chart', I want to split all the columns (and to keep all the new columns splitted as they appear, as well) just with one click. Right click on profile and select "Letters/Blocks in their own column" Hope this helps |

Thanks, but it's not what I mean: I do use 'Letters/blocks in their own column' already. I need a 'split all' feature. Maybe my request was not that clear, so I attach 2 images to clarify : pic n. 1 is today CL profile as I normally use it with 'Letters/blocks In Own Column' feature enabled, pic n. 2 is the same profile but with all the columns splitted. You see the difference as I use a combination of TPO and VbP in the same chart: what I want (sometimes) see is each volume profile as each half hour column is forming. I can obtain the same view by hand but it is annoying, I am looking for a more cenvenient way to switch it on and off. Thank you anyway, I appreciate. |

Allow me to jump on your bandwagon. I think you have a very good idea/request. I would also like to see current volume numbers for the current time bracket along side the total volume. Maybe include defining number colors to indicate % of volume.

Why not just create a 30 minute Intraday chart and add the Volume by Price study to that chart and set the Volume Graph Period Type to Fixed by Bar Count and set the number of bars to 1. You will accomplish the same thing. It is not likely that we would add what is requested because it is not efficient. From a technical perspective it does not make sense. We would have to be inserting a split across all of the loaded profiles at each subperiod. And effectively be creating a huge number of TPO profiles. This is not practical. Usul, Liked your idea as well as the attached charts. Are the lines that appear on your charts for Today High, ON L, Today Low drawn automatically? If so, can you please tell me how to accomplish this as I have been doing the same thing manually each day. If you draw the lines and text manually, do you have to move the line and text independently or is the text attached to the line so that they move together? When I draw using the Horizontal Line (extends out in both directions) tool, I'm allowed to attach text. However, if I draw with the Line tool (does not extend in both directions), no option to attach text is provided. Thanks very much. |

Use the Horizontal Ray drawing tool. You can attach text to it in the same way as a Horizontal Line.

@ SC: yes, I already tried to keep a separate 30-min chart with VP attached, but I trade real time from the Market Profile and I need to see TPOs profiles **AND** Volume Profiles at the same time as I trade. I find very time consuming, annoying and prone to errors switching back and forth between different charts as I trade. So I am using only the TPO chart to trade, enriched with the VP informations. They give different informations and I need both. The only problem is that the VP study is not splitting into different 1/2 hour columns. Maybe you can think about adding a feature to the VbP study in order to get the same result. @ drywater0: I use the DailyOHLC study based on different charts: I maintain 2 separate daily charts one with the RTH session data, the other with the ON session. Hope this helps. |

Can this now be done!! It's a great idea, and very useful. A split all tpo profile, is a must have on the same chart. Please add this! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-01-28 11:18:36
