Hi,

I'm trying to work out how to go back and practice trading charts using Sierra's replay function. I'm interested in practicing the S&P 500 E-mini and would like to go back as far as I can and work my way forward.

I'm having trouble however as I can't seem to get the data to go back any further than around may this year. On the following page: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartHistoricalData.php it says there should be historical data of up to 3 years? Am I wrong in thinking this?

I've looked at the help on this site but can't seem to find what I'm after. I've changed global settings, max historical days to download to 1000 to try and go back further to no avail. I'm using the symbol "ESZ15" (is this correct?) and trade service SC Historical data.

How do I go about being able to replay the charts from the start of 2014 through to the present day on a minute by minute basis with volume etc as it states I should be able to on the page linked above?

FYI, I'm on package 5.

Thanks,

Andy

To do what you want you need to use the Continuous Futures Contract Charts. Refer to the instructions here:
