I talked to barchart and they said it was a sierra problem. If I open an intraday individual stock it fills in all data properly. If I open a $ index file I get no data for this morning to now.

It is very obvious that Barchart has a data problem. We are going to run a test ourselves and contact them about it. What we recommend you do now, is set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit to 10 seconds or higher. After that re-download the data. Also we very strongly recommend you use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed instead: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed This data feed is provided in cooperation with Barchart but runs through our own servers and software. I believe the data for yesterday is mostly complete, but we will need to restore ticks for today from our backup after market tonight. There will be missing data for today until that is done.
