user defined fields with orders

hi - I have a string that I need to assign to an order and later identify that order with the same string - like a user defined field so to speak. I need to set and get via acsil. Is this possible?

Currently using files as a workaround (storing orderid's/user data pairs). So on a scale of 1-5, importance is 2-3 (medium). Have a much bigger project that is starting which requires this type of thing and that would make the priority higher. This type of field is useful to have in general I am sure you understand why. That said, do have a workaround so its not a show stopper at all for now. |

Hi, I set TextTag field in s_SCNewOrder when I submit a new order, but GetOrderByIndex returns an empty string in TextTag for this order. Also I can see my text in "Orders and Positions" window in "LastOrderActionSource" column and "Text Tag" column is empty. Version: 1317 |
