When I go to Global Settings >> General Setting >> Alerts/General 3 and use the "Test Sound" button to check the different .wav files I have at the at the AlertSounds folder most of them don't work. Even the .wav files that come with Sierra (honk, airplane etc....) don't work. But a few of the .wav files that I created do work. Any idea ?

The problem is prior to all the problems described in this link.
When I go to Global Settings >> General Setting >> Alerts/General 3 and use the "Test Sound" button to test the different .wav files I have at the at the AlertSounds folder most of them don't work. But A few do work.
There is no formula or code involved here. Just trying to test the sounds.
When I play the wav files in an audio player they all work fine.
When I try to use the alert sounds in custom studies (using sc.SetAlert()) The ones that work when I use the Test Sound button also work in the studies but the ones that do not work with the Test Sound button also don't work in the studies (The Alerts do appear onthe alerts log but no sound).

Yes, we understand but some of that information is still relevant.

We really do not know what more help to provide about this. We tested several of the sound files provided with Sierra Chart, and they did work.

We will add logging to the next release to indicate when there is an error message returned by the Windows PlaySound function.

I noticed that the 4 sound alert files that do work are much larger then all the other that don't work. See attached screenshots.
Does this help make any sense of this problem?

No not really. The next version will actually display the operating system error message indicating what the problem is.
