Data File or SC system file corruption (on my PC)

As of this morning, I no longer are receiving any Live Data for my charted FXCM symbols but these are Live and streaming on FXCM’s platform.

Please assist … but before, you need to be aware/understand of what has happened in my SC on my PC of recent, let me briefly explain:

while trying to fix slow-Google, I flushed DNS (ipconfig /flushdns) while SC was running/streaming live data, and only one FXCM symbol (AUS200) stopped receiving live data. Tried all steps then finally I did “Deleting a Data File”. This had fixed the problem; but the data for those few hours (while trying to fix problem) did never download again and is still missing today.
Point here is, the process ‘Historical Data Download in Progress’ never has added those few missing hours of data, not even to date; While this is not important right now, it might be in my points lower.

FXCM required all their clients to change their passwords online. I done it mid-week (but failed to realised to change in SC as well) then by the weekend I upgraded SC by “Download Current Version”. Subsequently, all FXCM symbols did no longer Live streaming. I thought it might be problem with SC latest version Release. Subsequently I rolled back my Windows OS to the day before Restore Point, but this did not fix the problem. Then following Troubleshoot in SC online Help, I realised “password”; subsequently I updated password in SC and problem solved.
Point here is, I upgraded SC to the latest version (1299 I think), then rolled back windows OS to previous restore point which was before having had upgraded SC to 1299. Now, after roll back OS, my SC showed Version 1296 again and was working fine until Today.

Today,
Monday morning, upgraded SC to latest version 1307, and no more live data streaming on my charted FXCM symbols. Deleted AUDUSD data file, reloaded Chartbook and AUDUSD was live again as well as AUS200 mysteriously became live again also, … however the 1 hour data (in which it took to fix the problem) is still missing from both AUDUSD and AUS200.
Then I did the same for SPX500 & US30 deleted data file, etc., but these symbols still are not receiving any data despite having had deleted (created new) their data files. These files also do not show any data for today’s session.

btw. All symbols and live data are working fine on FXCM’s own platform and FXCM’s Charts.

In Summary: effectively …
I had flushed DNS while SC was streaming data.
I upgraded SC version from 1296 to 1299, then rolled back Windows OS to previous restore point, then SC shows version as 1296 again, after OS roll-back. AND SC worked fine for last 7 days.
Today, I upgraded SC 1296 to 1307 and some symbols, despite deleting data file (creating new), still are not receiving any live data nor any data from today’s trading session (but all historical data from previous sessions are present).

Incidentally, when opening EURUSD (which I never have open in any charts) the data is live streaming and all of today’s session data is present, unlike the other (above) symbols which have not, and which are always streaming on my screens.
Point here is, no corruption in EURUSD as I never have it open in any charts.

Furthermore (today), on SPX500 when using Edit >> Edit/Download Data - Intraday Chart and deleting a few records (from Friday’s session), once SC is re-connected it reloads those few records but fails to download any of today’s session data-bars.

I feel there is some other corruption that is ‘deeper’ then Data file itself, (or corruption between historical data file and live session data file transfer process) … can you please assist?

update ...

Suddenly as of moments ago, all Live data is streaming again on all symbols, BUT not showing any data for that hour it took trying to fix this problem this morning.

Should I be resetting anything else?

Let us know at the moment what symbols you are not receiving data for. There should not be any.

There was a problem with the FXCM data feed earlier this evening which has now been resolved. About 45 minutes ago.

For some CFD symbols there is missing data but we will see if we can patch those.

If you are missing data for any Forex pairs, follow these instructions here to re-download the data:

We will work on patching the missing data for the FXCM CFD symbols.

It will be a few hours before we get to this.

Yes, we know because we have patched the data on one server but not our other two servers. We will get this done as soon as possible.

in reference to my original post and for future reference, can ...
1. running "ipconfig /flushdns" (from command prompt), while SC running, cause any harm to SC database?
2. can rolling back windows OS to a previous 'Windows Restore-Point' (now SC is also previous ver), cause any problems when upgrading then to a newer SC version?
