alert log window will not appear, v. 989, package #3

The alerts will sound, but when selecting "window//show-hide alert log" does nothing. The alert log window does not open. I have a number of trendlines active on each chart, the alert sounds when price crosses/touches the trendlines but the log window does not appear. Thanks.
