Any way we can expect you will come out with a Linux/Android/Java version of SC in the nearish future? or some other platform?

I'm guessing from the lack of a reply from SC that it isn't going to happen. But I also see that in a couple days 30 some odd people clicked on the thread to see what SC might say.
How bout it people, anyone got anything interesting to chime in here?

Faantastic! I've hated windows for 15yrs but am now stuck with it because of Sierra Charts.
But...solid plans or just intentions at this point?
And, do you mean early next year,mid-next year, end of next year...?

Yes, please do this so I never have to "upgrade" to windows 10. This this that one last app that keeps me on windows. I tried to run SC under wine, but the experience wasn't good.

Hello SC Users

pls note that there are no any sense to build SC linux port on top of XWindow because it's old and heavy piece of crap.

The new stable Wayland API will be the reality in 6-9 months - Fedora 24 will be out.
And it will be really wise to let people to test it during next 6 months.

So there are no chances to do it right until the end of 2016.

imho.

I'm sure it will use QT (which I like) because there's a Qt5Core.dll file.
It's also has Apple support, so maybe SC on Apple's?
I'm getting used to running SC on virtualbox though :D

LOL. You guys are so demanding.

I'll be happy with anything that lets me be rid of my last wine application. I'm guessing it won't be Wayland because too many SC users will be wanting to use older Linux releases. Similarly QT. But I'll use whatever Sierra Chart wants :)

Any testing you require when the time comes Admin, I'd be happy to help.

In case we will want to use something stable and fast it shouldn't be X Window System based.
Wayland/Android and a cloud based service will be good to help SC to stay as something right for traders in the middle term.
imho.
