Hi,
I'M trying to track down a bug in someone's code. The message I receive once in a while in an automated system is as follows:

More than 5% difference when calculating new trailing order Price1. Order not modified.

What is the meaning of this message found in the trade service log ant any idea of the potential causes?

Thanks

This means that the new price calculated for a Stop order is more than 5 percent different than the current price, so the order is not modified.

The calculations are based upon the last trade prices.

Here is more info as requested. This describes my stop type and should give the info requested.
I am using a Triggered Trailing Stop with a MBE type: Offset in Ticks Triggered.

My spreadsheet system uses the Trade Management by Study study to modify the Attached Orders' stop.

If you are using Trade Management by Study with a trailing stop, that can definitely cause problems if the study Subgraph it is based upon is moving the stop to unreasonable levels. You should not be using this on a trailing stop. In general, that does not even make sense.

You are making things too complicated. You are using a Triggered Trailing stop, you are modifying it by a study and also have a Move to Breakeven setting on it as well.
