SC Real TIme and Historic Data Feed

I believe I should be able to receive data from your SC Real Time and Historic Data Feed. I have enabled "Allow support...." I have closed and reopened SC. I did not receive data. I disabled "Allow support..." and was able to receive the data from the TWS.
I then enabled "Allow support..." and closed and reopened SC and no data.

We fixed one problem.

The only other thing you need to do is activate one of the CME Group exchanges from this page:

The other thing that you must do is update Sierra Chart with Help >> Download Current Version. You are running a significantly older version.

So took care of your points, the download seemed to work fine, the real time data was coming through, but the message on the screen said data was still downloading and when I looked at the data I could see I had the historic data right up to about 10 mins before I requested the data, and then there was a data gap up to where the real time data coming through

Deleted scid file and tried again after closing and opening SC, and same occurrence.

Deleted scid file again and once I had chosen the file to download and SC auto connected to the data feed, I immediately disconnected it which meant I had not received all the data. I connected again, and received the rest of the data, and this time, it was right up to and including the real time data coming through.

Can you please check this out?

There is no need to go to the procedure of deleting the Intraday data file. That is completely unnecessary. You only need to select Edit >Delete All Data and Download if you want to re-download the data.

You also only need to restart Sierra Chart once after activating the exchanges.

I connected again, and received the rest of the data, and this time, it was right up to and including the real time data coming through.

There is no need to be concerned if everything is working properly now.

We do not know exactly what you did and the timing of everything. We know that it can take a few minutes for the authorizations to go through on the backend system and that may have been the problem. However, all of this at this point is beside the point if there is no longer an issue at this time. And most importantly, we do not expect you will have any trouble going forward from this point.
