Hello - shopping for new pc monitor. Is there a way I can log on to my SC Charts from a Best Buy or Staples store to see how my charts would look on monitors/TVs of different sizes, different resolution specs, etc.? Currently using 26" 1360 X 768, 16:9 aspect ratio. Aging diabetic eyes, like to sit close to bigger monitor. Always been a one-monitor chartist, could see myself going to two monitors, not more. Advance thanks for any experience-based feedback, info.

The simplest solution would be to have Sierra Chart setup on a laptop which you can take with you to the store. This way you will be able to connect any monitor to it and test it. Do make sure that the laptop has ports for connecting external monitors, most do, but it is always a good idea to double-check.

You just install Sierra Chart on your laptop computer and log in with your Account Name and Password. Would be a good idea to have the laptop connected at your home and open a chart and keep Sierra Chart running on your laptop and then you can easily test it at the store by connecting different monitors. My current favourite monitor for trading is the LG 34um95. I have mine with the windows task bar to the right hand side (instead of the bottom) with such a wide aspect ratio it is great for looking at charts. |
