The Parallel Rays Tool in Sierra v1286 generates a phantom line from the starting anchor point, but only when the chart is scrolled back so that the start is not in view on the right hand edge of the screen. This occurs in both time-based and Range charts and in both new and old spreadsheet versions of Sierra.
