Hello, I chart trade and turn on and off the chart trade window with the attached trade window shortcut, mostly to change ATM regularly. But I always have to close the floating trade window manually which becomes annoying. It would be nice if there was a show/hide trade window shortcut. Same as the chart DOM option. Cheers Mike. There's a shortcut to open the trade window for chart (CTRL SHIFT T) but it doesn't close it. It would be nice if this could do both open and close, toggle the trade window for chart. Thanks. Mike. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-08-20 02:58:36

Hi & happy new year. Any chance this feedback/issue can be addressed. There's no way to view/hide (toggle) the Trade Window without detaching it first, then closing. I'm sure I'm not the only one turning on and off the trade window. Also, I haven't posted here in about 6 months, can this please be removed?: "Your account recently has exceeded the number of allowed support requests. Support for your account may be limited. There is a Close Trade Window option on the Trade Window Menu. Are you aware that? And you can certainly view the Trade Window just simply by accessing it from the main Trade menu or by using a Control Bar button or keyboard shortcut. Hi thanks for the reply, Trade >> Attach Trade Window To Chart Yes, I use that feature a lot (via toolbar and keyboard) but it doesn't remove the trade window, only detaching it. I then have to close the detached window. Trade >> Open Trade Window For Chart This only opens it, would be great if this also removed/closed it too. Similar functionality to the DOM, how it can be toggle on/off a chart. Cheers Mike. |

Bump! Being able to directly close a Trade Window that is attached to a chart (instead of having to detcht and then close it)would be helpful to me too. Thanks. |

There is a Close Trade Window option on the Trade Window Menu. This is the M button on the Trade Window.

I cannot figure out how to have the trade window not on top. I need screen space and want to have it open, but want to hide most of it behide the chart with only a bit of showing. Then I can "pop" it when I need it, but when i don't it is not using screen space (I like my charts tightly together). The trade window does not have a 'menu' with 'window' on it. I have been trying to figure this out for some time now. Thanks, John |

John, here's what I do. Add two buttons to your control bar. In my first photo, you'll see I have added a "OpenTW" Button. This opens an attached trade window to whatever chart I have active. You could use the "Open Trade Window" setting instead which I've highlighted in the second attached image if you don't want it attached to your active chart. The second button I have is to close the Trade Window (Close TW). This simply closes the Trade Window when you're done with it. Since they pop up instantaneously I wouldn't worry about it being open but behind a current chart. Just pull it up when you need it and close it when you don't. Hope that helps...Scott |
