Hi,

I contact you because i have some big lag when i add the market profile daily and market profile weekly with 300 day of historical, all the platform starts to lag and i can't even trade or put an order.
When i remove this chart i can use sierra chart again.

It's very strange because i have a good machine : Processor AMD A8-3850 2.9 GHz, 8go Ram.

When i open the task order, processor is at 25 and when i remove this market profile chart, processor come back to 12

Could you help me please.

Regards

You need to increase the Letter/Block Price Increment in Ticks input setting with this study. To start off with set it to 20 and then reduce it from that value to what you require but still high enough avoid high CPU usage problem.

It does not matter how fast the computer is, you will still have a high CPU load with what you are doing.

When you increase this number, does the performance improve?

If so, then this very simply means there is a lot of information being drawn. We do not have any other solution to offer.

See if you can do better with hardware improvements like the video hardware or driver.

We do not see how we can help with this further.

There can be other causes which contribute to the problem. Refer to help topic 30:

Another thing to do is to use Interactive Scale Range to reduce the range of prices displayed, so that only a portion of the TPO Profiles are visible. Refer to:
