SC,
1) Thank you for the new Graphics Settings: Added new order line color settings for child orders.

But, if a parent order is filled, then him child orders have changed colors according the settings for the parent order.
(tested on version 1282, Trade Simulation Mode On)

Can you do that the child orders have the same color according the settings for the child orders also after filled of the parent order?

2) Also, do not work settings for:
- Chart Trade Window Buy Button Color
- Chart Trade Window Buy Button Text Color
- Chart Trade Window Sell Button Color
- Chart Trade Window Sell Button Text Color
- Chart Trade Window Flatten/Reverse/Cancel Button Color
- Chart Trade Window Flatten/Reverse/Cancel Button Text Color
- Chart Trade Window Quantity Buttons Color
- Chart Trade Window Quantity Buttons Text Color

Thanks
Marek

1. Yes this is the case. That is the idea that the child orders have different colors when they are in a nonworking state. Otherwise, they use the standard colors. There are no plans to change this.

2. These do work, but you will need to attach or detach the Trade Window for them to go into effect. But we will work on this so they go immediately into effect.

AD.1) I understand this idea. But for me prior is to see clearly which order lines are parent orders and which are child orders. E.g. if you submit 2 parent orders with attached orders, and one parent order has a Filled status and other has an Open status, then is not clearly see which visible orders are the child orders in a working state and which order is the parent order in a open status, because they have the same colors settings.

So, maybe can you add additional settings for child orders in the working state? Then everybody will satisfied.

Thanks
Marek

I know you are not accepting requests, but this exact situation is indeed confusing.

So we are completely clear at this moment in time, what exact situation are you referring to?

What is relatively easy for us to do is that once a child order becomes a working order and is no longer in a pending child status, we could use the standard order colors. Is that what you are looking for?

But the point is that, for IB, my understanding is that because of the server OCO capability, orders are considered working from their submitting. Unless I'm mistaken.

Yes this can affect the coloring. We have to remember how we did this with Interactive Brokers because Interactive Brokers does not have reliable order statuses.

We are 100 percent convinced, that they need to create an entirely new API with standardized symbol formats.
