Hi,

I'm struggling with the format one uses for entering fractional prices into a spreadsheet.

I'm using a spreadsheet study for horizontal lines and I would like to display it on a chart of the ten year treasury notes.

In the new spreadsheets how do you enter a price of 127 and 23/32 ?

Thank you

Try this:

=127+23/32

Thank You.

I appreciate that after you have set up a spreadsheet study for multiple horizontal lines it has become easy to update it daily and therefore may be more useful than the Horizontal Lines study.

I'm making sure I use the New Spreadsheets and will monitor CPU Usage, which I hope will not be high with only 160 rows

If the Spreadsheet does not contain any formulas and just values only, this will reduce CPU usage significantly. The formulas you are using for the fractional values, are formulas, but they are very simple.

We will see if we can automatically detect those types of numbers with fractions and treat them as numbers when entered. So a formula does not have to be used.
