Hi SC

Glad to see this newly released feature. Please could you help with some explanation of the fields.

My aims are to:

1. Flatten and lock trading after a certain daily loss level (say $200). I'm guessing that I put -200 into Profit Trigger Value, select the Flatten All Positions When Profit Rules Met checkbox and also the Lock After Profit/Loss Met check box.

Is this correct?

2. With this set, how can I utilise the trail daily net profit effectiuvely? I'm confused by initially having a negative trigger. If my aim is to:
- stop trading at a $200 daily loss
- once profitable, never dip back into loss (so let's say a $50 threshold to cover commissions). Would this be 'After Trigger When Daily Net Profit Increases By' = 250 ?
- have a trail of (say) $200. Would that be Increase 'Profit Value After Trigger to Flatten Positions By' = $200?

3. I'm also a little confused by the interaction of Profit Trigger Value and Profit Value After Trigger To Flatten Positions.

A little more explanation would be much appreciated. This feature looks really useful.

BR

Lee.

Please give us about one week to get this documented and there is also one change we need to make to the Global Loss Management.

Also the version you are running does not contain the latest functionality. You need to update to the latest version. The version you are running only contains functionality which is intended to manage profits. Not a loss.

We have started the documentation here:
Global Profit/Loss Management

Please be aware of the cautions given about this feature! Those cautions should not be underestimated because they are real and have a significant probability of actually occurring.

does the daily net loss management | flatten positions when loss rules met | loss trigger value take commissions into account or not?
