SC985 unable to place live orders

When attempting to place live orders from the chart, the program switches to simulation mode.
Reverted to SC983, no problem.

Is this when using TransAct? If so, do the following:

Uncheck Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On.

Select File >> Disconnect.

Select File >> Connect to Data Feed.

This is how it works:

When Sierra Chart is in Trade Simulation Mode, and you connect to TransAct, there will not be a connection to the TransAct trade server. This is how TransAct wants it.

When you go out of Trade Simulation Mode in Sierra Chart select File >> Disconnect and File >> Connect To Data Feed. This will allow you to get the connection to the TransAct trade server.

What we plan to do is to make the reconnection automatic.

Thank you for the clarification, I understand it now. I'll also be looking forward to the automated feature as it is indeed practical, useful and necessary..
