Hello I just moved to a new location and I am having connection problem. I talked to AMP futures and still I was not able to find solution. My ISP told me that they do not have any firewall and I am not behind router. I know today is weekend so I no longer can test connection. This is my IP: 119.206.250.229 Can you guys check to see if you guys are blocking my IP? or put my ip on allow list. Thanks!

I was able to connect to Sierrachart with my mobile connection. Does this mean my ISP is the problem? Weird thing is that my internet works everywhere except for Sierrachart.

Tell your ISP that when your system is connecting to 12.41.48.53 Port 10501, the operating system is saying: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. Ask them if they are blocking 10501 or that IP 12.41.48.53 . Make sure you are also not running any firewall software other than the Windows firewall. It seems to be ISP problem. These are result when I ping 12.41.48.53. I will be getting a call from ISP tomorrow. Will let you know!

This is really odd. My ISP analzyed the traffic and they concluded that Sierrachart server is blocking the traffic. I am not quite sure what to believe. Is there anything I can try more before moving on to another trading platform? I really want to use sierrachart since this is what I am familiar with, but sadly I can't even log on =(

The server is from Trading Technologies not from Sierra Chart. What they mean is that possibly the TT server or network is not allowing ping or Trace route to function on the server or internal network. AMP should put you in contact with TT about this. CQG is $0.20 round trip more expensive than TT, but I think I had enough of problem. Is CQG just as reliable as TT? I heard I can use server side OCO with CQG. Am I correct?

okay i opened CQG with AMP and now I am able to trade. Under global setting, general trade setting if I click "use server side OCO" does it enable server side OCO on all orders?
