hello,
1. I had downloaded a trial about 3 years ago but did not explore it. At this time I want to explore your software in detail. Please allow me a new trial.
2. What is the speed of your spreadsheet studies? on a tick chart will the spreadsheet study be updated on every tick

3. I did not see Kaufman adaptive moving average and associated AMA Binary Wave on your site. THis is an extremely useful indicator that has made me lots of money. Will you consider adding it as a standard indicator.

4. I will need to convert several of my systems from another software. Are there more programmers who have done good work on Sierra other than the limited number on your site.
5. can custom indicators be done using several different instruments in one indicator?
6. can studies based on tick charts be easily combined with studies based on 3 min charts and 15 min charts to generate paint bars on a chart and also alerts?
7. can one license be used to run on 3 computers
8. can data sources be combined, ameritrade tick data for stocks and futures driven by ib?

9. on a top of the line pc, will there be a lag or any performance issue with 100 charts open with alerts based on complex conditions?

10. does the software take FULL advantage of multicores?

1. Your account has been activated and/or reset.

A restart is necessary if Sierra Chart is already running. Exit the Sierra Chart charting and trading software by selecting "File >> Exit". Open Sierra Chart through the icon on your desktop or through the desktop Start menu.

After your Sierra Chart usage time ends, you need to pay for additional usage time through "Help >> Add Usage Credit".

2. Updating cannot be tick by tick because it is not efficient. For more information about how this works, refer to Chart Update Interval here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GeneralSettings.html#CUI

3. Possibly these have been added as User Contributed Studies which are included with Sierra Chart. Also search this Support Board for these using the search feature:
https://www.sierrachart.com/SupportBoard.php?do=Search

The Moving Average-Adaptive in Sierra Chart may use the Kaufman method.

4. We do not know anyone else well enough to make a recommendation.

5. Yes. There are different ways this can be done.

6. Yes.

7. Yes. With Sierra Chart Service Package 5.

8. Yes.

9. It depends. If the Chart Update Interval is not too short there will not be a problem.

10. There is information about this here:

I posted Kaufman's AMA in an earlier thread:
Offering To The Community: Adaptive ERI Moving Average With Filters

I call it Adaptive ERI to set it apart from the other AMA's I've done. I've also added some extras that can be enabled or disabled.

The ERI core is here:
Offering To The Community: Efficiency Ratio Indicator With Filters

You can check the description and source code of both to see if they're what you want.

Instructions on using a 3rd party DLL are here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_DLLUsage.html

I've posted some volume tick based AMA's I've been studying, also. Hit the forum search button and enter "offering community" to dig them up.

They're all free, so enjoy.
