Do you guys have a feature called "iceberg order?"

This is for profit target. Let's say I go long 100 contracts of Crude Oil. Crude oil usually only has about 20 ~ 80 contracts at each price level. If I put a profit target of 10 ticks, then dom will show at least 3 digit number on profit target price.

Instead of showing entire 100 contracts, is there a way to only show what I want to show? Let's say maximum of 50 contracts to show for target limit price.

I am not sure if I explained clearly. Let me know!

Yes we understand. And Sierra Chart does not support Iceberg orders.

We think the CTS T4 system does if you use their trading software. Sierra Chart does support CTS:

However, the order will have to be entered from the T4 trading software.

Besides LIT orders, iceberg orders are also available at TradeStation and TWS (Interactive Brokers) and missing on SC. It would be nice to change this situation. Thanks in advance

you explanation is very incorrect , an iceberg is = if there is 50 contracts at offer and 100 hit the offer 50 of them are iceberg , u cant place a iceberg order but only end up with one , and as far as platforms showing them , most are incorrect do to chart update timing so trade station and IB are incorrect numbers just to make you feel like you have the info , same as bookmap all garbage

Thanks for the post User322949. I think this is semantics. What I’m talking about, using the example you provide, is to be able to submit 100 orders but break it up into 2 seperate orders of 50 (or however you wish to break it up - maybe 50 seperate orders of 2).

I think others would find this functionality useful.

I don’t think this is possible to do apart from using some trading system (either spreadsheet or ASCIL).

You could manually submit all orders on the chart/DOM to replicate an ‘iceberg order’ but there is no way to:
- specify total order size,
- how many different orders you want the total order broken up in to, and
- potentially the time between each order being submitted (either a constant time or variable time between two values).

Thanks User20450. This is what I was suggesting. Would Sierra be willing to add something like this?

Are there any plans to add the ability to create Iceberg orders?
