I have an ACSIL study that places chart markers and plays a sound. I want to only play the sound when real-time data is coming in, I don't want to play it when reloading the chart. How do I detect that a chart is not in in 'reload' mode? thank you! |

In the next release we are adding this ACSIL variable: sc.IsFullRecalculation When it is true, it will indicate a chart is reloading or a full recalculation is occurring for other reasons. So you can check this variable and return if it is true before doing certain processing. You will also want to check: sc.DownloadingHistoricalData Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
