SC sim DOM vs SC live DOM

Hi,
I am currently using Infinity AT, but recently having issues with a 30+ second delay between placing orders and actually starting to see them work on the DOM. I'm seriously considering changing brokers, but continuing with SC.
Anyway I have compared SC's DOM with the Infinity AT DOM and it would appear that the orders on the SC DOM do not update as quick. Is this because the SC DOM is in SIM mode on my PC? Is the live feed different?

You really should ask your broker or TransAct support about the delay. In our experience there should not be any delay.

What you are referring to is the speed of the market depth updating. To get the same behavior that you see on the Infinity DOM, you will want to uncheck the following:
Global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings >>Data Feed Settings >> Send Trades Only.

and restart Sierra Chart.

Hi I have tried global Settings >>Data/Trade Service Settings. But there is no option for Data feed or send trades only

You are running an older version. Please update with Help >> Download Current Version.


After that you will see a button named Data Feed Settings in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings.

Also reduce Number of Time and Sales Records to under 10000. It does not need to be as high as you have.
