Hi,
I have a few tool configs set.
I've set A,B,C,D to each tool config via shortcut editor but nothing activates any tool configs.

Are you able to select a particular Tool Configuration when you manually select it through Tools >>Current Tool Configuration?

If so, then those particular keyboard shortcuts are not working for unknown reasons. We would not know why and cannot help with that. Keyboard shortcuts can sometimes not work properly for reasons which are not within our control.

This is good. Another thing that came to mind is that to be able to select a particular Tool Configuration you need to have a drawing tool selected on the Tools menu. So make sure something like Tools >> Line is checked on the menu.
