Was using prerelease 1268. Upgraded to latest prrerelease last night. Lost my tools menu and the connect/disconnect menu. So I reverted back to the Full release 1261. Now all charts are missing all overlay indicators. How do I get back to a working system?

The Tools menu? The Tools menu is just fine. There could not be a problem with that. Or are you referring to the ToolBar?

Follow the instructions here to use a backup Chartbook:

We have to check on the problem you describe here:

I am probably referring to the toolbar. It contains the disconnect/ connect buttons, and numerous tool selection shortcuts and chart time frames.

Using the backup file restored my missing chart indicators, thanks.
Can I update to latest pre release ? with min chance of losing toolbar?

It would be best to wait until next week before updating to the prerelease because we are still working on the new ToolBar.
