I am trying again to convert to New Spreadsheets. I followed the instructions for moving but I get the message that the spreadsheet conversion failed. Help please. There are no files in the .scss files but there are in .scwbf. I tried opening from the Open Spreadsheet menu one of the .scwbf files and that is when I get the failure message in the log.

If the spreadsheet conversion fails, attach the spreadsheet here so we can test and see if we can determine the problem. But we cannot make a promise about this.

Here are the instructions:

I have attached the file. It is the old format because of the conversion issue

A couple of months ago when I first tried to convert, SC did create the new files, they just caused SC to lag and stall. This time it isn't creating them at all with the message that the convert process failed. When I first downloaded and opened the spreadsheets I was connected to data and it kept repeating the convert process. Then I disconnected and it stopped trying and gave the error message.

We cannot reproduce the problem with conversion. It worked properly for us.

The converted file is attached.

I see a Private File listing at the bottom of your last post but no file link. I was not signed in from your email alert to the update, but after I signed in the file still did not appear. I don't know if it is attached and I don't know how to retrieve it or if it was mistakenly not attached. Help please. Thanks

The file is now available for you. It still is private but only available for your account.

Regarding the problems with converting files, we could not duplicate the problem as we said, so we are not sure why you are having a problem but in this particular case, we recommend not using any of the existing Old Spreadsheet files in the instance running the version of Sierra Chart with New Spreadsheets. You will need to manually enter the formulas and other data in the newly created spreadsheet files.
