quoteboard across chartbook linked charts not working

I have version: 1266 I have two chart books and one quoteboard linked to #1. I create charts on chart book 1 and 2. I link all charts to #1. I change market on the quoteboard, the charts on chart book 1 change but the charts on chart book 2 do not. I have the quoteboard set to always visible across chart books. |

Quote Board linking does not work across Chartbooks. It will only be able to control charts within the Chartbook that it is actually contained in even if it is set to be always visible.

Thanks for the reply. It's a bit confusing and a shame really as I thought that was the purpose of always visible.. maybe a feature for the future. I guess you give yourself more link numbers keeping them seperate, ie per chartbook. I've limited my trading to a single screen and chartbooks are great for separating long/short term charts. I'll just duplicate the quoteboard. Thanks again. Edit, I guess the it's the same with link drawings/studies.. limited to chartbook. Would be a good idea to use a class style structure.. ie chartbook1.1 chartbook2.2 etc. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2015-07-03 03:29:44

Regarding Chart Drawings, if you were to read the relevant documentation, you would see that it is possible to copy Chart Drawings across Chartbooks. I have tried these settings but it is not changing all the linked charts on multiple chartbooks, only changing the ones within the chartbook where the quote board was created. Please advise. |

Hi There! Chart linking does not work across multiple chartbooks. It will only be able to control charts within the chartbook...maybe a feature for the future?
